Joe Goode Performance Group, San Francisco, California: Director of Audio, Front-of-House Audio Engineer for "Grace" and its eight performances at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Used multiple channels of wireless microphones, responsible for following script for dialog and CD audio cues, audio editing and sound design utilizing Digital Performer for synchronization with time sensitive live dance performances. Also worked very close with the Production Manager and Music Composer for coordinating show production.
Slims, San Francisco, California: Staff FOH and Monitor Engineer. Utilizing their recent addition of the Yamaha M7CL digital console at front-of-house and the Midas XL3 for monitors. Familiar with the digital platform, Lake Processors and software. Accountable as Production Director for all bands and techs to keep sound check and show on schedule. On-point communication with 3-way com system, ringing and tuning monitors, trouble-shooting, quick turnovers for numerous acts per night. Working with multiple production staff discussing and implementing quality production for artists including John Meyer, Emmylou Harris, Living Colour, Les Claypool, Maxwell Adams, Kasey Chambers, The Matches, Willy Porter and many others.
Great American Music Hall, San Francisco, California: Staff FOH and Monitor Engineer. Using the Soundcraft K2 console and Allen And Heath GL2800M console for such artists as Jesu, Sean Hayes, Afro Reggae, Abjeez and Kiosk, Cowboy Junkies, Voxtrot, Jim White and many others.
Freight and Salvage, Berkeley, California: Staff Front-of-House Engineer. Quiet sit-down listening atmosphere for the best folk music in the bay area. Stage production, audio engineering, lighting, hospitality and director of time management. Independent leadership working with such artists as Dar Williams, Solas, Kelly Joe Phelps, Utah Philips, Ramblin' Jack Eliott, Chris Smithers, Matt Nathanson, Kaki King and many others.
Three Hits and a Miss, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Technical Director and FOH Audio Engineer for this four-part vocal group accompanied by piano, upright bass and drums on a thirty-nine-show tour . Director of Audio, Technical, Stage Production and House Technical and Lighting personnel. Technical liaison between theaters and touring group. Instructed Stagehands and House Managers with lighting production specifics and show time-line. Always a professional environment and accountable for multiple deadlines per night. Traveled with our own Allen And Heath console and JBL speakers for audio reinforcement to audiences up to 1,600 people.
Earthdance Festival, Laytonville, California: FOH Audio engineer for the Forest Stage (2004) with the support of Awakening Productions for artists including Shaman's Dream, Sasha Butterfly, Shimshai, Taarka, Caroline Aiken and many others.
Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, California: Staff Front of house audio engineer for multiple events including concerts, choirs, organ recitals, services and forums. Experience with multiple channels of wireless microphones, followed audio cues for services which was also broadcast live via the internet. Digital two-track recording for various concerts using Digital Performer and a Powerbook G4.
Shattuck Downlow, Berkeley, California: Live Sound Engineer. This submerged latin-funk club has brought in a variety of raggae, hip-hop, funk and latin groups which have been a pleasure to work with. Artists include Midnite, Omaya, Plate Fork Knife Spoon (members of Crown City Rockers), Otis Goodnight, Albino, Felonious, Shotgun Wedding Quintet along with others.
Cafe Du Nord, San Francisco, California: Live Sound Engineer. Front-of-House audio engineer for intimate settings with Jim Campilongo and other jazz musicians. Other artists include Tony Scherr, Josh Fix, Rachel Efron, Tim Bluhm, JP Cutler, Mates Of State and many others.
Broadway Studios, San Francisco, California: Live Sound Engineer. Front-of-house audio engineering for eighteen-piece swing bands, DJ's, VH1 Pop/Rock Contest private events, and 2001 World Lindy-Hop video with Beardance Productions. Responsible for stage production with multiple bands, special events, wedding receptions and comedians. Also assisted as a photographer and production assistant.
Storyville, San Francisco, California: Live Sound Engineer/Audio Supervisor. Audio engineer for both front and rear rooms simultaneously for live Hip Hop groups like Mission with Radio Active to DJ's including DaLua of Bossa Cuca Nova, Frederic Galliano of Frikyiwa, Cheb I Sabbah, Jahyzer, Rocker T and many others. Responsible for SPL management being located in a residential area, FOH audio engineering, stage production and time management for performances.
Memphis, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Audio Engineer, Technical Director. "Memphis" is a classic rock band that performs at casinos and large events with-in the upper mid-west. Responsible for audio engineering and lighting, stage set-up, load in, tear down and driving the equipment van. Worked solo on all productions and was responsible for on-time performances.

A440 Studios, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Digital Editing, Quality Control Listening, Recording and Mixing Producer/Engineer. Worked with "Universal Band Width" to customize music and audio for a website called "Create-a-Song.com", which specializes in personalizing music via the Internet. I held the Quality Control Listening, and Digital Editing positions. This entailed the selection of vocal audio takes, digital editing using Protools and Paris, expanded talent list in the local Minneapolis area. Independent digital editing for largely sponsored toy promotions "Rubba-Ducks". Consulted with business owners about time efficiency, and business expansion ideas. As a Recording and Mixing Producer/Engineer, I was responsible for conducting recording and mixing sessions, consulting and scheduling studio time.
Funkytown Studios, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Assistant/Independent Engineer. Conducted independent recording projects where I was responsible for bringing in musicians, recording and mixing engineer, and establishing relationships with various producers and artists. Engineered numerous independent digital editing projects, and re-wired and maintained patch-bays.
Music Tech Studios, Saint Paul, Minnesota: Recording/Mixing Engineer. (Now named McNally School of Music) As a student I developed my skills greatly in various music production, digital recording/editing studios with various musicians and independent projects. Multi-track recording with two-inch tape and Pro Tools, ability to sync audio to video with SMPTE, recorded dialog, composed music, and used and designed sampled sound effects for an audio and sound-design projects. Utilized two studios simultaneously dumping audio in real time while working in a production room experimenting with gear and producing music.
Angel Beach Studios, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Studio Engineer, studio construction. Developing stages of this new studio as a Recording Engineer, working with new clients in a brand new studio with voice overdubs, layering, music projects, spontaneous walk-in sessions. Also various construction projects for studios A and B, setting drywall, placing tongue and groove ceiling panels, and giving studio tours in the largest studio performance area in Minneapolis.

Songline / Tone Field Productions, Berkeley, California: Touring Coordinator, Tour Manager, Product Manager. Songline / Tone Field Productions is the production office of music producer Lee Townsend and the management office for musicians Bill Frisell and Viktor Krauss . Accountable for establishing tour logistics for Bill Frisell for all national performances. Tour Manager for Bill Frisell and his Unspeakable Orchestra tour in November of 2006. Also responsible for press support and archives, on-line product mannagement and sales along with Production Assistantance and digital audio editing for producer Lee Townsend. Familiar with web tools, Macitosh trouble-shooting, audio editing, ftp transfers and website html updates.
Zealot Pictures, San Francisco, California: Audio Recorder/Boom Operator. Captured audio and helped conduct interviews for the documentary 24 Hours On Craigslist. Involving two-person teams of video and audio. Responsible for audio quality for film recording, but extended my skills with conducting interview questions and overall production. Working with remote indoor and outdoor locations.
